Classes & Workshops

Mistalocks Chicago Style Steppin’ has been at the forefront of the Chicago "Steppin" movement in the city of Detroit and has been providing stepper's workshops and private lessons since 2002.

Mistalocks Chicago Style Steppin’ has also established a unique class niche in Detroit because it provides instruction for all ages in a family environment and it has the most proficient and technical stepper's classes in the city.

Mistalocks Chicago Style Steppin’ classes take place daily. All participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, bring their favorite dancing shoes and a small towel. Bottled water is provided.

Mistalocks Chicago Style Steppin’ has also partnered with very successful Latin Hustle & Detroit Style Ballroom instructor groups to bring some of Detroit’s popular dance styles to the masses.

Buford G. Collins is the master instructor for all Mistalocks Chicago Style Steppin’ classes & workshops and has worked with some of Michigan’s top steppin’ groups. Buford G. Collins has taken his style and methods to Georgia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida & Ohio.
